Tenuta le Colonne

Tenuta Le Colonne is the closest winery to the sea within the DOC Bolgheri, it is located a few meters from the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The 60 hectares of vineyards were planted mainly close to the sea. In the foothills of the Metallifere Hill, the vines show a particularly good development, where variations in sun exposure, rainfall and temperatures delay the ripening period and contribute to the slow development of the aromas. The sea has a refreshing effect on the vineyard and at the same time acts as a mirror that reflects the sunlight on the slopes, creating ideal conditions for the production of great wines.
