BOLGHERI Rosso DOC 2023

A wine to be savored and thoroughly appreciated. A true Tuscan pride and a symbol of Made in Italy. Such a weighty designation could challenge even the most experienced and seasoned producer. This is not the case with Tenuta Le Colonne, which raises the bar once again with its Bolgheri DOC red, earning (deservedly) acclaim across the Channel. A wine that touches the soul of the drinker, capable of exalting itself at the table when paired with red meats and roasts.

Sensory Characteristics

Purple red with bright, violet reflections in the glass. The nose is pleasant and complex, with sensations of red and black fruit, particularly blackcurrant and ripe cherry. Floral and black pepper notes follow. The tannins are soft and well-blended on the palate, with a decisive finish on notes of red fruit.

Pairings

Excellent with red meat, fine meats, and game.
