Tasting Notes

Color: Deep ruby red with violet highlights.

Aroma: Rich aromas of blackberry, plum, and ripe cherry, with subtle herbal and spicy notes.

Palate: Dry and full-bodied with firm yet smooth tannins. It finishes with a pleasant hint of bitterness, typical of Refosco, and good persistence.

Food Pairings

Excellent with cured meats, aged cheeses, game, roasted and grilled meats. Also pairs well with hearty first courses such as lasagna or mushroom risotto.
