Produced from the Nals Margreid vineyards, Angra expresses the character of Alto Adige Pinot Noir: a bright ruby color, a fragrant bouquet of red fruits and light spices, and an elegant and smooth palate. It is a versatile wine, ready to drink but with a pleasant potential for bottle aging. The vineyards are located in the Oltradige area (southern Alto Adige), between approximately 350 and 450 meters above sea level, with a southwest exposure. The soil is moraine, compact and poorly permeable, formed by glacial-era sediments deposited by glaciers. This substrate is rich in minerals and limestone, with elements such as clay and gravel deposits typical of glacial moraines. This combination of moraine soil, minerals, and limestone gives the grapes excellent phenolic ripeness and a balance between fruit, acidity, and structure, enhancing the typical elegance of Alto Adige Pinot Noir. In short, the Angra terroir is characterized by compact, glacial moraine soils, rich in minerals, and well-suited to reflecting the Alpine-Mediterranean microclimate in the wine's aromatic and structural profile.
