Monte Olmi is the name of the vineyard located in Pedemonte di Valpolicella, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica. It has an extension of 2.5 hectares with south-west exposure. The vineyard is obtained on terraces: the steep slope ensures the loss of water in case of heavy rainfall, while the depth and the predominantly clayey structure allow it to retain water in periods of drought.

Description

In the 60s, Renzo Tedeschi had the happy idea of vinifying the grapes of the Monte Olmi vineyard separately to give rise to one of the very first Crus of Valpolicella. Today Monte Olmi is the emblematic wine of the company and the territory.

Notes of cherry, raspberry and red currant blended with notes of Slavonian wood.

Elegant and robust structure, with good acidity. The retro-olfaction confirms the notes on the nose. It is a long and persistent wine.

Long-life wine.
