Maison Leblanc-Collard has created this Champagne Premier Cru Rosé Brut as an elegant expression of the character of Pinot Noir and the finesse of Chardonnay. “Passionnelle” is a cuvée that embodies the romantic and sensual soul of Champagne rosé, interpreted with balance and artisanal precision.
A rosé of charm and substance, where the structure of Pinot Noir meets the crystalline elegance of Chardonnay. Prolonged ageing on the lees adds aromatic depth and softness, while the balanced dosage of 8 g/L maintains tension and pleasantness. A balanced Champagne, ideal for those looking for a refined but not austere rosé.
Sensory profile
Color: Deep pink, with a very fine and persistent perlage. Impeccable brilliance and luminosity.
Aroma: Precise and fragrant, dominated by small red fruits, wild strawberries, raspberries, and currants, followed by citrus and floral notes (rose, peony). With oxygenation, nuances of brioche and toasted almonds emerge.
Palate: Fresh and full on the attack, supported by a creamy mousse. Pinot Noir provides volume and vinosity, while Chardonnay gives tension and length. Balance between liveliness and softness, with a dry, fruity and slightly spicy finish. Elegant, clean and salty persistence.
Food pairings
Perfect as a classy aperitif, but also paired with salmon, tuna, or scampi carpaccio, tuna tataki with sesame and citrus, seafood risotto, roasted poultry, or dishes with red fruits (duck with currant sauce). It also pairs well with strawberry tart or red fruit desserts, as long as they are not too sweet.
